The Mash: 22 February
Huge high fives and hugs all around the brewery last Friday as Hells Lager won gold at the International Brewing Awards! Hells won in the International Keg Lager category. As one of the best beer competitions in the world, which had almost 1,000 entries from 47 countries and is judged by professional brewers, we’re psyched to see Hells grab the Gold.
Beer started pouring in more new pubs in the last week or two and some of the places you can now get Camden Town include Rotary Bar & Diner, Well & Bucket, Spread Eagle and the Albion, plus the newly opened Balthazar has Hells and Pale on tap.
Food at the Brewery Bar this week is Peppa Pot and Deeney’s on Friday and then on Saturday we’ve got Gurmetti. That’s Caribbean, Scottish and Italian. And it’s all awesome.
We’ve also started work on the bar – adding extra taps and a growler filling station. That’s all coming very soon and it means that we can pour lots more beers!
And we’ve currently got a job vacancy for an amazing office assistant who is an organisational genius.
