5 ways to spend summer with Camden
We’re here with beer - popping up at festivals, parties and exhibitions all Summer long. It’s the Summer of Camden, and we want you to get involved.
Here’s 5 ways you can enjoy Camden in the sunshine* (*insert accurate weather forecast here)
Secret Garden Party
When? 20 to 23 July. Where? It’s a secret
It’s our first time at SGP, and the last time the festival will be as you may know it – so what better than to see it off with a beer? After all, this isn’t a festival, it’s a party!
Come find us - we’re pouring you cold beers all weekend long, with cans of our Pale Ale on ice and pints of Hells, Pale, Wit and Pils. We’ve collaborated with our pals at Beach London so you can come screen print your own Thomas Slater designed tees and totes and help raise money for House Of Illustration, the UK’s only public gallery devoted solely to illustration, who have developed a pioneering illustrator-led education and outreach programme to promote new talent. This year’s theme is embracing the universal right to fame (you know, celebrities and the media that obsesses over them and all that) so, for all of you that managed to bag tickets, we’ll see you on the red carpet for a beer.
New Brewery Open Day
When? Saturday 29 July, 12 – 9pm. Where? Enfield, North London
Heard the news? We’re opening the doors to our shiny new brewery, and what way to celebrate than to throw a party and invite you all along to see it.
To launch the second home of Hells, we’re bringing our pals together for a day of fun, food and BEER. Watch some live music at The Little Camden Band Stand curated by The Social, take a tour around the brew house, catch a tasting with the brewers, hit up a workshop with Beach London and fill up at the pop up restaurants from the likes of Polpo, Homeslice, Byron, Caravan, Texas Joe’s and Walter and Monty. There’s stuff for kids too, with games, activities and entertainment all afternoon. Let’s have a cheers to brewing more beers.
UPDATE: We’ve hit capacity for tickets. Missed out? Keep a look out for more releases over the next few days on Twitter.
Brighton Big Screen
When? 28 July to 28 August. Where? Right on the Brighton beach front
Oh I do like to beer beside the seaside, oh I do like to beer beside the sea.
We’re taking to the sand for beers by the pier to catch some of the best movies, old and new, at this years Brighton Big Screen – a month long outdoor cinema so you can watch the likes of Pulp Fiction with a Pils or Hairspray with a Hells. Keep an eye out for us popping down throughout the month – you may be able to grab a beer on us.

Strawberry Sleeves Forever
When? Sunday 6 August at 2pm. Where? Camden’s Daughter
Join us at Camden’s Daughter with Beach London for an afternoon of drinking, music and art inspired by your favourite Strawberry-related song and our new beer - Strawberry Hells Forever.
Create your own record sleeve for Strawberry Fields Forever in this one-off workshop upstairs at Daughter at Beach London’s gallery in Kentish Town, to celebrate the release of our Summertime seasonal lager and the 50th anniversary of the song itself.
Once you’ve got your Ticket To Ride, Every Little Thing will be provided. On arrival you’ll get a vintage Strawberry Fields Forever 7”, a custom collage kit and a blank record sleeve. Then, with plenty of Strawberry Hells and a soundtrack of the Fab Four to get the creative juices flowing, What You’re Doing is creating your own sleeve art, inspired by artist Adam Higton’s artwork for Camden’s 2017 Strawberry Hells Forever bottle. By the end, you’ll be Glad All Over! (Too many song title puns? Maybe…)
Beers and record are included. Tickets are limited, and cost £25 - get yours here.
When? Saturday 12 August. Where? Brockwell Park, Brixton
A festival of two halves (we know what you’re thinking, that’s a pint…) Camden are heading to Brixton’s Sun Fall Festival.
Party together by day, then continue into the night at a choice of their late night sessions, with a line up featuring Floating Points, Gilles Peterson and Ben UFO. Grab a beer and head to the record fair, where we’ll be joining some of our favourite record labels to bring you a market supporting new artists, as well as a programme of music creation and performance workshops, music focused talks, interviews and discussion with industry professionals and artists all day long.
Tickets are out now - get ‘em here before they sell out.
