Assistant Brewmaster - Enfield
About The Role:
We’ve experienced a huge amount of growth in the past few years; we opened a shiny new brewery site in Enfield to help us make loads more beer – and now we’re looking for an Assistant Brewmaster to help with our cross brewing projects. You will be required to work independently and remotely at times to perform the required duties, and be an ambassador for Camden and our beers.
Who we are looking for:
Desirable to have at least 3 years experience in brewing.
Excellent knowledge of quality systems and/or brewing operations and a hands on plant aptitude is a must.
Strong communication skills – this role will need to build relationships with internal and external teams and understand and manage multiple systems and ways of working.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to understand situations and make critical decisions as required in all areas of production.
A passion for the Brewing Industry.
Great time management skills.
Desirable (but not essential) if you:
Have a relevant technical degree (e.g. science, brewing, engineering.
IBD Diploma in Brewing, Master Brewer qualification or similar.
Ensuring safety standards are adhered to at all times by all team members.
Ensuring beer production is compliant with all govt. regulations and legislation.
Manging quality and quality systems to the highest standard, as set by sensory KPI’s.
Ensuring all procedures, tools and checks are understood, established and performed during production across multiple sites.
Ensuring beer is made as per agreed plans and timelines, managing cross brewing trials and production.
