Groups National Account Manager

About the role:
As National Account Manager you’ll be responsible for managing the relationship and growing the sales of Camden Town Brewery across key on-trade customers.You’ll need to build relationships with a range contacts, negotiate confidently and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding activation and service.

This role will be based in London

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Management
• Commercial responsibility across a number of national, strategic customers
• Build exceptional relationships with a range of customer contacts across buying and marketing
• Negotiate new business tenders and manage distribution rollouts
• Closely track and report on customer performance
• Conduct performance analysis and recommend action
• Manage a budget to drive sales and maximise ROI
• Propose innovative and differentiated ideas to ensure Camden stands out in the trade

New business

• Help deliver the new business target for the Groups channel

Within Camden Town Brewery
• Work closely with our marketing team to build and deliver game-changing and differentiated activation plans for your customers
• Partner with Supply Chain to ensure an accurate forecast to ensure that we constantly deliver great service
• Work with the groups field team to drive distribution and ROS of Camden beer in the trade
• Clearly communicate customer performance and drivers to manager and leadership team
• Be an expert for beer sales in the on-trade, including competitor activity and latest trends

Who we are looking for:
• 3+ years’ national account manager experience, ideally in the on-trade
• Great communication skills, ability to manage and cultivate exceptional relationships
• Strong negotiation and objection handling skills
• Clear understanding of a P&L and excellent commercial acumen
• Strong understanding of the on-trade market and ways of working
• Solution oriented and “Do-it-now” attitude
• Strong work ethic, reliable, sociable, flexible, self-motivated and ambitious
• Full, clean driving licence is desirable
