How young are you?

Or in other words, are you of legal drinking age? We have to ask because it’s the law. Just so you know.

Pacman Nope, I’m not quite there yet.

With great beer comes great responsibility

The Mash: 28 June

“Once upon a time Czar Odell visited the Imperial Borough of Camden in search of a beer to rival Cutthroat Porter…”

The beer we created is Camden Versus Odell. It’s a 7% ABV Baltic Porter, a dark lager that’s an imperial battle between Hells and Cutthroat. The brew officially launched last night and is now available in keg and bottle. We were super excited to brew this beer with Doug Odell and now that we’ve got to drink it we’re even more excited – it rocks!

Fifteen, Jamie Oliver’s restaurant near Old Street, is now pouring Camden Town beers on tap. They recently developed their menus, so the food is new and now they’ve got Hells and Ink. They also have a bar now, so you can just sit down with a beer.

And check out Truck Stop on 4 and 5 July. A food truck festival with 20 traders, a BBQ pit, old fire engines, live music, DJs and lots of great beer. If you’re going with a group of friends then you can order a whole keg of Camden Town to share, plus there’s a whole craft beer bar. If you like beer and street food (and who doesn’t?!) then you really should go.

Food this week at the Brewery Bar is Mama’s Jerk and Deeney’s on Friday and the Byron Van on Saturday. Delicious!

Look out for Camden Versus Odell and drink it while you can.
